The Kaon-W Plus is a fun all-mountain binding with extra support for charging the hardpack, slashing some banks, or sending it in the park. The unibody-style baseplate and heelcup are made of glass-filled nylon, which is light and sturdy without being as stiff as carbon. When set up with your standard angles, rockered corners and off-axis powerbeams allow the board to flex organically and distribute energy to the edges more efficiently. The nylon Asym Hadron-Hiback has a great heel-edge responsiveness and tool-free forward lean adjustability. It, like the rest of the binding, has been engineered to work well with the AsymFitTM boots.
